LEADERSHIP

Head of Soccer Operations – Gabe Ramos

Raised in Carle Place, Long Island, Gabe always had his sights on combining his on and off field success. From a young age, he loved the idea of pursuing a combination of business, entrepreneurship and soccer for his professional career. As a youth soccer player, Gabe played for Albertson Red Storm Clash. He helped his team earn 5 ENY State Cup Championships from 2001-2005, 2 Region 1 Championships in 2003 and 2004, and helped lead them to be National Finalists in 2003 and 2004.  After graduating from Chaminade High School in 2004, he had the opportunity to play NCAA Division I & II soccer while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Administration.

After graduating, Gabe took a role as a soccer coach & educator at Chaminade High School, where he served for a combined 13 years. During his tenure, he helped guide the Chaminade Soccer program to championship success on the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels. Additionally, Gabe was able to obtain his Masters in Education from Molloy University. During this time, Gabe gained invaluable professional experience and motivation needed to launch his own soccer training organization, Royal Soccer Training. After launching in 2018, Royal Soccer Training experienced over 200% growth until an eventual M&A between Royal Soccer Training and Carlo Acquista’s One Goal Sport in 2022 to create Royal Sporting Group. Currently, Gabe serves as the General Manager for Royal Sporting Group, overseeing all aspects of soccer and day-to-day operations of the organization. Royal Sporting provides soccer training for over 2,000 youth soccer players weekly.

Most recently, Gabe has been named the Head Coach of the Sacred Heart Academy Varsity Soccer program by Athletic Director Morgan Molinari O’Connor. In his first year, he led the Sacred Heart Academy Lady Spartans to a CHSAA League title as well as 2023 New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association Class AA Soccer Championship. Additionally, Gabe was also the recipient of the 2023 CHSAA Coach of the Year, as well as Newsday’s 2023 Nassau Coach of the Year.

Gabe’s extensive playing and professional experience has served as the catalyst for developing a truly distinctive coaching philosophy, one that seamlessly merges the invaluable insights gained on the field with a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in guiding student-athletes towards their highest potential. Gabe Ramos lives in Miller Place, Long Island with his wife, Jenna, and their three children.
